Could there be any type of clauses that would allow a team like the Devil Rays to leave if attendance dropped below a certain point?

The only real way they could escape their lease is through bankruptcy court....

And Florida has strong political types that could make that a sticky issue....Owners still remember Seattle and the bankruptcy proceedings they endured with the Pilots...Theyd just as soon keep the Rays in Tampa than have to award that city another team 5-10 years down the road....

Anti-Trust is THE reason that baseball hasn't had a team move since 1972, moving a team with a lease like Tampa's would surely trigger another round of Anti-Trust proceedings...
