This is a thread that I'm surprised that nobody made up, but here it goes.

No matter where the new ballpark gets built up, it will have to have a name. Now I know that it will be up to ownership, which more than likely will give it an advertising name such as "Pepsi Field, Pepsi Park" for example.

What would you name the ballpark if it were partially up to you? I, personally, would like to see the name be "Rose Grounds."

Deepest apoligies if this is in the wrong forum. Move it if it's the case.

Our stadium's name will in fact reflect the name of the corporation who pays millions for naming rights. The best we can hope for is a corporation with a good name. Hmmmm..... Google is moving to Portland. Google Field? Lets hope not.
Jugs stadium? insert joke here Jeld Wen Park? Yuck! Ive got nothing.

Back before Henry Weinhards was bought out, a few friends and I thought "The Private Reserve" would be a good name.

Now, I'm just hoping if this ever happens it is named after something better than a mortgage or insurance company.
