How to do Private Messaging

The OSC forums have the ability for people to send Private Messages back and forth to each other.

To do a private message you will need to add a member to your "Buddies List".

• From the "Go" menu, select "My Space".
  
• From the "My space" list, select "Buddies"
  
• When the pane loads, select the "Add Users" link.
  
• Search for the username of the person you wish to add to your list.
  
  
• Select the "Private Messaging" link in the left hand set of links.
  
  
• Select the "New Private Message" button.
  
• Select one, or as many Buddies as you like to get into the private conversation.
  
• Select "Add"
  
• Select the "Invite Members" button.
  
• Confirm whether you want the person to just "Read Only", or be able to respond.
  
• Post the topic just like you would in the open forums.

This seems like a bit much, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes a great way to have personal conversations.
