How to Post in the Forums

If you're reading this, most likely you are new here, and so while we're at this, I wish to say, "Welcome, and I hope to see you post often!"

• First step in posting a reply or new topic in our forums is you must be a registered member, with the exception being the monthly Q&A sessions that David Kahn is now hosting. To register, go back out to the main forum screen and select the "register" link and follow the steps to be approved.
  
• Posting a reply - Once you are registered and logged into the forums, you can reply to any topic being discussed by selecting the blue or yellow arrow at the bottom of the topic page. When you select either of those arrows you will be presented with a window in which you can type your response, or comments. Remember, vulgarity is filtered out, and confrontational methods of discussion are greatly frowned upon here. We promote discussion and dialog, not arguing.
  
• Posting a new topic - If you wish to post an entirely new topic to discuss, you can do this one of two ways. You can go into the specific forum you wish to post it to (MLB to Portland, Virtual BBQ, etc.) and select the "New" icon in the upper left of the screen just below the navigation links. Once you select "New" you will have the option to select "Topic" and post a new topic for discussion.

Remember, the site is moderated to make sure that there are no conflicts, etc.
