The Athletics traded for All-Star 2B Ray Durham. I know they are contending for the AL West title but could this be a move that ups the value in the team, ala Montreal? Just curious.

Also would the ownership of a Portland team have to be from Portland. I would say there are people in California and Seattle that would probally own a team in Portland due to the money that would be made on the team there.
