I am not sure if you guys know that you can get acess to the archieves of the Oregonian, NY Times and Washington Post free through Multnomah and Clackamas County Libraries.

That is indeed good to know David. I have accessed them before for research on Portland baseball history, etc.
It should be noted that while we now only display a portion of Oregonian articles here in the Forums, and a link to the OLive website that lasts only two weeks, I archive all the articles in entirety for OSC purposes, and can pull information out of any of them for discussion purposes here. But... For those at the Library, David offers up and excellent free resource. Hey David... if you're down at the Central Library at any point can you check to see if Ancestary.com is offered for free? This is something that a lot of baseball researchers use, and is free at some public libraries. "PLAY BALL!" |
